The African Commons Project approached us to create a new WordPress based website and member portal for SAINe. The project required some strategic thinking and investigation into the member usability. What they ultimately needed was a website that had a great public facade but also had a powerful member portal to allow members to interact and access privileged resources.

Some of the member only functionality included: a custom profile and personalised dashboard, a document repository, ability to register and pay for events, ability to submit blog posts for approval, a classified section. WordPress was used as the base CMS and extensive custom development was done to include all the additional functionality. The end result was a great looking, powerful website.
